The Charlotte Chapter of Charms, Incorporated, is dedicated to recognizing and meeting the needs of those in the communities where we live and work. The Charlotte Chapter of Charms, Incorporated is always in search of ways to continue our commitment to community service. We strive to uplift, support and educate through our principles:

Charms., Incorporated is a civic, cultural and social organization of women dedicated to high cultural standards and humanitarian services that will improve the quality of life for all.
The members of Charms, Inc make this mission statement a reality with the support and help of their husbands, known as Charmers; their children called Gems; friends and supporters.
Charms, Inc., is always a viable part of our respective communities; touching lives in positive and loving ways. Charms further aspires to continue to be a viable part of our communities through philanthropic and fundraising projects to benefit organizations such as the Sickle Cell Foundation, NAACP, Historically Black Colleges and many others.
The Charlotte Chapter of Charms, Inc. co-labored in Precinct 16 of Mecklenburg County, Charlotte, NC, neighborhoods in coordinated efforts to increase voter turnout during the 2020 General Election period. The Charlotte Chapter of Charms, Inc. co-labored in Precinct 16 of Mecklenburg County, Charlotte, NC, neighborhoods in coordinated efforts to increase voter turnout during the 2020 General Election period. Members of Charms, Inc. agreed to canvas the community distributing voter information to individual homes. With all Covid-19 safety measures in mind, volunteers ‘knocked’ on 1,300 doors throughout Precinct 16.

In 2020, the Charlotte Chapter of Charms, Inc, provided eighteen (18) Rocky River High School, McKinney Vento students, $40 gift cards during the holiday season. The gift cards totaling $750.00 were personal donations from the members of the Charlotte Chapter.

In June of 2021, Charlotte Chapter Charms, Inc. donated $1,000 to support A Sign of the Times scholarship program and $1,000 to support My Sister's House transitional housing program.
The Charlotte Chapter of Charms, Inc,, held a Commemoration of Service on November 28, 2020, proudly celebrating 50 years of affiliation with the National Chapter of Charms, Inc., Fifty years to the day, on November 28, 1970, 20 women, formed the local Charlotte Chapter. The celebration (via Zoom) featured a candlelight memorial tribut
The Charlotte Chapter of Charms, Inc,, held a Commemoration of Service on November 28, 2020, proudly celebrating 50 years of affiliation with the National Chapter of Charms, Inc., Fifty years to the day, on November 28, 1970, 20 women, formed the local Charlotte Chapter. The celebration (via Zoom) featured a candlelight memorial tribute for 16 charter members, and honored 3 charter members, Christine R. Bowser, Maxine O. Davis, and Mary R. Gill.
Funds will be used to benefit the Charlotte Chapter of Charms, Inc., a National, Social, Civic and Cultural Organization. Charms, Inc. is a 501(c)(7) non-profit organization.
